Thistle Seed Bird Feeders

Feeding thistle seed (also called Niger or Nyjer seed) brings a variety of colorful and song filled birds to your yard and garden. Thistle is most commonly dispensed from tube feeders, but are also very effective when dispensed from low cost seed sacks.

Depending on your region and season, you may find some of the following types of birds attracted to your thistle feeder; goldfinches, house finches, purple finches, redpolls, pine siskins, white-throated sparrows, doves, chickadees, dark-eyed juncos and song sparrows.
